She is a lovely girl?..?a bit shy to start so would do best in a quiet home ..?she loves to sit beside you and a good belly rub !?She can startle easy at big noises but she is improving all the time.?She loves to be brushed which will be a necessity with this gorgeous coat of hers !!

Mindy is one of the sweetest cats we’ve ever known. She is very quiet – we have hardly heard her meow. She has lovely soft medium hair that will need brushing, but honestly, not every day.
She is still a little skittish, especially when she is eating….so during that time, we like to give her space. She will still bolt at sudden or unexpected movement, but doesn’t hide nearly as long and we have noticed the last several days that she will bolt out of the room and then stop and come back – so awesome progress!
As I type this she is sitting beside me purring away. She is very loving, likes to be near us and is spending more and more time with us. Having said that – she does seem to like her alone time, even if it’s laying on a bed in a different room. We have left her alone for 3 hours or so and she isn’t phased by it.
She loves pets and will happily flop over for a belly pet. We’ve had some kisses and don’t think we’ve fully seen her affectionate side so I’m thinking that once she has truly decompressed in her forever home, there will be many kisses.
The same can be said for her playful side – we’ve seen it at times, but not a lot. Hard to say what that will look like down the road.
The most interesting part of her personality right now is that she stays low to the ground. She hasn’t jumped a counter or the kitchen table. She hasn’t even been up her cat tree and the base of it is her scratching post.
