Mister Kitty is a shelter rescue whose owner can no longer take care of him due to health issues. He is 12 years old and diabetic, meaning he does best with two shots of insulin a day. He is a short haired black cat who is very affectionate and will always be wanting to cuddle! He has been an indoor/outdoor cat for most of his life. He gets along with dogs who are a bit bigger than him, but can be a bit bossy to smaller dogs. He has not lived with other cats and seems mostly hostile to them entering his “territory.”
The insulin that Mr. Kitty requires is sold over the counter for about $80 a bottle and a bottle lasts about a month. It’s administered via veterinary syringes that sell for about $40 for a box of 100 (lasting a little over three months).
This cat requires a bit more attention and care than most, but could bring much joy to your life.
