Peanut and Jolene are around 2 years old and met in rescue. They bonded quickly and have been inseparable since. Peanut likes to be held and cuddled, especially if he gets an extra bit of carrot. Jolene will happily sit on a blanket on the table in front of you. They enjoy a wide range of veggies (spring mix, tomatoes, carrot, broccoli, green peppers, coloured peppers, kale, cucumber, celery, spinach, apple, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries and dandelion greens). They go crazy for their Oxbow Vitamin C cookies. Hay is the best thing in the world and Peanut gets so excited when it’s hay time (morning and night, with veggies at dinner time) that he will popcorn and wheek when he gets his hay. Jolene just dives in head first. They have been fostered in a home with cats (cats will sit on top of the cage and they aren’t bothered by it) and 2 small dogs and don’t react to barking. Peanut came from a home with small children and will do well with small children if supervised. Jolene has not met children yet, but with gentle, quiet patient handling will do fine with older children. Please also read our attached info sheet on how to properly care for these cuties
